The Greatest Prayer Warrior Ever

Message Scripture: 

“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” – Hebrews 7:25 (KJV)

Introduction:

Good Morning Everyone! I’m excited about this message. This is another message from earlier in the year that I’m working to put on Pastor B’s Blog. I believe the Holy Ghost is ready to be unleashed…so let’s get into the message to see what the Lord is about to speak to us through it.

The Greatest Prayer Warrior Ever:

Isn’t it good to know that there is someone who is always praying for us, always knows exactly what and how to pray, and always prays for us according to the will of God?

Well, the only way that can happen of course is because Jesus Christ Himself is making intercession for us. The Bible says here that Jesus is making intercession for us, and I don’t know about anyone else but this excites me.

I am one of those people if you ask me how you can pray for me I’m probably going to say something like “just pray as the Holy Ghost leads you to pray for me”.  There already is someone praying as the Holy Ghost leads, and it’s Jesus.  Isn’t that awesome?

Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you and for me right now.  Jesus is praying for me as I’m writing this message.  Jesus is praying for you as you are reading this message.  Let that sink in for a moment.

Jesus Christ Himself is praying for you…right now.

The best part is He always prays according to the will of God because He IS God.  God is praying His will for you right now.  I don’t know about anyone else, but I think I just preached myself happy.

We have the greatest Prayer Warrior ever talking to God about us right now.

Let’s Pray:

Father God, what a glorious thought to know that You are living to make intercession for us right now!  Thank You for not only answering our prayers, but for having Your own prayers that You are praying over us.  We ask that all You pray over us You bring to pass.  In Jesus name. Amen & Amen

Final Word From Pastor B:

It’s always good to know that people are praying for me, and I want you to know that I really do pray for you.  Other than sharing the gospel there isn’t anything greater we can do by praying for each other.

I think we all know that it’s important that we bring one another’s needs before the Lord in prayer, and the knowledge that the Lord, Himself is making intercession for us ought to be one of the most comforting and exciting things to know.
